Essie Fifth Avenue

No matter how many nail polishes one has, there is always this color you see on someone else's hands or feet and you say "Ooops how come I don't have it".

A month ago I saw a coworker wearing Essie Fifth Avenue on her hands. This lovely cream red with solid orange tint looked superb on her hands. I couldn't resist complementing her, surely for the color but also for her manicure, it was very well done on short nails.

One conversation led to another, I shared with her my addiction to nail polish colors. Fabulous surprise; I discovered a soul sister, here in the office next door a nail polish addict. Can't ask for a better encounter.

There started my first swap experience. Few days later she got me a box with many polishes including Essie Fifth Avenue. Tried all of them the same day :) and settled for the Essie for my weekly pedicure.

Beware if you try this color you will have hard time taking your eyes off your nails; It is beautiful and a must have!

  1. I'm not a fan of polishes with a hint of orange, but this one is perfectly balanced for my tastes. I like it :)

  2. What a bright shade! This looks really good on your toes, so maybe it is one of those shades that looks good with many skin tones, hopefully? Either way, you have beautifully manicured toes. Keep the colors coming!

  3. Ayuu, I am not sure which colors are your favorite, I am big fan of purples, and maroons. I am not fan of Oranges, but I loved this one. I tried also another one called Color Club - Sexsea, and it looked beautiful too. I will post the pictures next week. After all, some oranges seem to look nice on fair skins. This one was definitely worth trying.

  4. Cyan, you bet, had to wear sunshades when I first looked at my toes with this color :)

Indeed, this color is very balanced; surely looks good on most skin tones, I am yet to try it on my Iguana (just joking)

Thank you for the compliment on the pedicure, or on the toes, or perhaps both. I admit I am a big fan of your manicures, the creative nail art, and admire the way you can keep long fingernails, always perfectly looking. Do not count on me for very long nails...but never know

  6. The color and painting are lovely, but for me your toenails are to long!! They could look so much better if they were short.
